Thanksgiving Turkey
This was the Thanksgiving project for my classes. When we finished I told the kids: This is your Thanksgiving dinner. The kids gave me a very surprised and puzzled look and then yelled : Nooo!
The kids are just adorable. haha....

Clay Art Class at the Milpitas Library
We had a mini clay art exhibit at the Milpitas Library.
At the end of the exhibit we had a class. Here's the project we were making (an ice cream waffle dessert):
At the start of the class everyone was wondering "Can I really do this?"
Everyone had a great time during the class. Even though the class was for adults, we all became children again while making the project and especially after it was finished.
Everyone's face had the glow of a delighted child while showing off the finished product.
The class filled up very quickly. So my apologies to those who weren't able to get in the class. I hope to see you at the next class.

Sara and Zoe
Sara really loves Clay Art.
She practices at home every day after finishing her homework. Her work is very detailed.
Since she started taking Clay Art class, she no longer buys
gifts for her friends and family.
Instead, she gives them gifts that she made with her own hands, which
surprises and amazes them. The gift she
is working on below is for her parents’ 20th anniversary.
Zoe loves art and does very detailed work. She enjoys designing her own projects. She recently made a cat piggy bank (shown
below). Everything about this project
was her idea – from the design to the colors she used. People think that I made the piggy bank, but
I tell them no, it was all Zoe.
Both of these girls share the same goal: to become Clay Art
instructors.
Happy Kids
I feel wonderful every time I see kids’ happy smiling
faces. They are like angels. I enjoy looking at their photos, it makes me
smile.
