Dhanya just got her DECO instructor's certificate.  These 2 projects are her theme projects for the DECO certification:

Halloween Project

This project is a storage box where kids can put their candies and other stuff.  The kids were super excited about this project because the ghosts are made of glow-in-the-dark clay!



Over 200 kids made this project, but no two of them are alike.  Each kid will think of some unique way to do their project.  I love it when kids come up with their own great ideas.

I show them a sample, and the kids just run with it.  Their finished product oftentimes looks better than mine.

Tissue boxes

 It's amazing how the same project can be interpreted in different ways by different people to evoke totally different moods.

These 3 tissue boxes below were made by different people (Mattie, Catherine, and Simone). They all feature the same kind of flower.  But each person put their own unique touch on their creation to give it a distinctive personality and flavor.

As you can see, no two projects are alike.  Each one has the unique signature of the artist's taste and personality.
